AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care of Fort Pierce / PSL is looking for a reliable, hardworking shop assistant who takes pride in keeping a shop clean, organized, and running efficiently.
This is an entry-to-mid level position with opportunity to grow into a technician role for the right person. We are looking for someone who works, not watches.
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- Saturday availability required when needed
- Shop hours environment (fast-paced, active workday)
- Starting at $18/hour
- Full-time, steady hours
- Opportunity for growth into higher-level technician roles
- Washing vehicles after service
- Keeping the shop, parking lot, and work areas clean and organized at all times
- Running parts and picking up supplies
- Accepting and organizing parts deliveries
- Keeping front office, work areas, and bathrooms clean and presentable
- Assisting technicians and service advisors as needed
- Supporting overall shop flow and efficiency
- Oil change services
- Basic brake repairs
- General automotive knowledge
- Someone who shows up on time, every day—no excuses
- Strong work ethic—you stay moving and look for what needs to be done
- Takes pride in cleanliness and organization
- Can follow direction and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license preferred
